Aavid Thermacore's engineering team is not only one of the largest in the world dedicated to thermal management solutions, but is also one of the most experienced in custom design, system development and system modeling.

small-service-thermal-benchThermal engineering solutions from Aavid Thermacore are based on more than 500 man-years of experience in the custom design, development of thermal solutions based on passive (k-Core® encapsulated APG, heat pipes, loop heat pipes, vapor chambers) and active (liquid cooling cold plates, liquid cooling systems, enclosure heat exchangers) thermal technologies.

 

testing-thermotronWe're equipped with a full range of commercial software (FloTherm®, ICEpak®, COSMOS®, Solidworks®, MathCAD, and more) as well as our custom, proprietary software code to model two-phase systems such as heat pipes, loop heat pipes, liquid cooling systems. Our technological capabilities allow Aavid Thermacore’s engineers to design innovative thermal solutions for the most demanding applications.

Aavid Thermacore's design engineers have experience in creating, designing, and developing solutions at the component, board (PB), and system level using the passive and active thermal technologies mentioned above.  After a thermal solution has been developed for your application, Aavid Thermacore’s team of manufacturing engineers work closely with our design engineers to develop the custom tooling for manufacturing the product to ensure it meets your technical, cost and schedule requirements.
